Making Mother’s Day

It’s the time of the year that we get to celebrate the special ladies in our lives and for me there’s first and foremost my mum, who this year in particular I’m extremely proud of, as she’s recently lost four and a half stone and looks amazing! I then have my Nan and Auntie who I’m lucky to have always been close too.

As I’ve grown up, the three have them have also become my best friends and Mothers Day is the time to celebrate how lucky I am!

Don’t get me wrong it’s also the only chance I get to milk it as a Mum of two myself, so I do! Because let’s face it, there’s not much time we get to have a bath in peace, sit and drink a hot cup of tea or watch a whole episode of corrie in one go! So that’s exactly what I’ll be doing, it’s the little things after all!

So whether it’s your Mum, Step-Mum, Mum-in-Law, Auntie, Nan, Great Nan or Wife, there’s someone you’ll be treating this Mother’s Day and we’ve some great gift ideas….

Mothers Day

We’ve got a great selection of accessories that would make perfect gifts (I hope my hubby’s reading this!), and a range of budgets, if like me you have a lot of lovely ladies to buy for:

Firstly a gorgeous pair of on trend sunglasses by Mango, ASOS £17.99 – these pastel shades are gorgeous for the early spring/summer sun.

This luxury digitally printed silk scarf is by designer Laura Orchant, and is available exclusively at Fenwicks £139, these beautiful colours are great for brightening up any outfit.

This cute ring is by Anna Lou £30 and is available in gold, rose gold or silver and what I love about it is the name ‘PS I Love You’ how adorable!

This shade of Essie nail varnish £7.99 is called Lovie Dovie – how appropriate!

Statement necklaces are huge at the minute and this one from Bon Bon Bijou £25 is the ideal gift, the gorgeous pastel rhinestones would compliment any outfit and why not treat mum to the matching bracelet too – and if you’re nice, you can always borrow them ;o)

This small clutch is by Whistles £35 and made from supreme leather is a little luxury for those evenings out.

And if none of that is your mum’s cup of tea, then you certainly can’t go wrong with a bit of Chanel, this bottle of No.5 is £87.50 from Boots.

Wishing all the Mums, Nans, Aunties, Wives, Sisters and Mum-In-Laws a super stylish Mothers Day this year!
